Neil started his career Producing, Recording and Mixing for artists like The Tito Lopez Combo (Acid Jazz) , David Ogilvy for whom he did 3 LPs, Silvia Powell and various indie bands on the Organ Radio CD releases, around 2004 he started to master and this has evolved into being his main focus.
Notable career highlights include mastering, 4 Latin Grammy Nominated Projects, 10 Premios Gardel winning Projects (The Argentinian Recording Industry Annual Awards), and The Progressive Music Awards LP of The Year 2017 I am the morning's “Lighthouse”.
He mixed the sound track for the Sony Radio Bronze Award winning project for “The Flight Of The Conchords BBC Radio Show”, has mixed or mastered projects for Disney TV, “Violetta”, “Peter Punk”, “Cuando Toca La Campana”, Nickelodeon TV “Toni La Chef”, “Sueña Conmigo”, and recorded MTV Live Sessions for acts including, The Doves, Biffy Clyro, The Deftones and Hurts.
From 2004-2014 he also specialised in location recordings of major artists of their live shows typically for DVD/Bluray, 5.1 or web content release, clients included, TOOL, A Perfect Circle, Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx, Joan Armatrading, The Fun Lovin' Criminals, The Alabama Three, The Maccabees “In The Dark”, Kasabian, The Boxer Rebellion, M83, Martha Wainwright and Friends, Down, The Bees, The Turin Brakes and The Buzzcocks.
Neil has always ran a parallel career as a educator and has had over 18 years experience in lecturing audio engineering at Alchemea College Of Audio Engineering Islington, where he designed many courses and most recently lead the designing of and was course leader of their Diploma in Post Production and Game Sound.
Since leaving Alchemea in May 2015, he has been a guest lecturer on the Post Production Sound and the Sound Recording Techniques 2, specialist Degree Modules for The University of West London, as well as being the Module Leader for Location recording and Post and also Game Sound at BIMM London. He is also in charge of Pierce Entertainment Education Programme.
He was one of the very first Avid Certified Pro Tools Expert Instructors in music in the EU and is also certified by Avid as an Instructor in Post Production. He was the first Sound Librarian Certified Instructor of the Official Fmod Audio Middleware Course for Game Sound in the UK.
