Pierce Entertainment will be offering a series of master classes where students will gain an overview of the art and science behind great sounding records.
Instruction will be at our famous Hammersmith studios using the same equipment and techniques that are behind some of our biggest hits.
The initial Mastering course discusses:
- The importance of mastering and how to prepare a mix
for mastering.
- Analogue and Digital mastering
- The processing chain, manipulating dynamics, further
processing and multi format delivery.
- Mastering for YouTube, iTunes/player and Spotify
A student’s mix and a commercial recording will both be mastered and analysed through interactive discussion.
This one day master class is organised in conjunction with LCCM
